As a conservative, the 2010 election for Congress in District 17 is very important to me. For too long, we have had a representative who shows up for ribbon cuttings and talks like he’s one of us, but when he gets to Washington he shows his “true blue” colors. We find that he votes the straight liberal Democrat party line more than 95% of the time, such as voting against funding our troops in harm’s way. He votes to spend money that our children and grandchildren will be paying back for years.
Now, more than ever, it is imperative that we say “Enough is enough!”
We can start by electing a strong conservative Republican from Central Texas to Congress. That conservative is Rob Curnock.
Rob is a fighter, someone who in 2008 knew that we had to stand up and fight even though many were not with him. I was impressed by his spirit, his message, and his values in 2008. I proudly worked hard to help deliver my county, Johnson, as one of the three counties Rob won in the 2008 election. I am convinced that by working hard in all 12 counties of the district, people will get to know Rob and join us in supporting him.
I am excited to serve the Rob Curnock campaign as Volunteer Director. My job is to help connect with every one of you, to get you information and whatever you need as you talk to your friends and neighbors about Rob. I’m also an advocate for you with others in the campaign, bringing your ideas to the mix as we look for creative ways to spread our message.
We are assembling a group of coordinators in every county in the district who will be working directly with teams of volunteers. I invite everyone who supports Rob Curnock to join our efforts as a volunteer in your area.
