Health Care Report

Please use the links below to download the District 17 Health Care Report, compiled from your feedback in August and September:

Health care is our focus issue for August and September. As the Congressional recess comes to an end and representatives return to Washington to deal with several health care bills, we are committed to making sure our voices are heard on this issue. This Action Center provides information about our town hall events, news posts on health care, and email links to contact us with your feedback.

News About Health Care

Health care has been a major focus of our campaign since early July. Here are recent news stories we have published related to health care legislation:

Feedback

Health Care

At our town hall meetings and through email, we are collecting feedback from District 17 residents about health care legislation and proposed changes. We will read through all of the feedback we receive and will use it to create proposals that reflect your views. We will send copies of feedback and our proposals to Senators Cornyn and Hutchison, to Rep. Edwards, and to selected conservative congressmen in neighboring districts, to make sure your voices are heard in Washington. We are happy to help facilitate this process, since our current congressman seems unwilling to face his constituents in a true open town hall.

Email us your feedback at healthcare@robcurnockforcongress.com and we will make sure it is included as we evaluate comments form across the district.

Town Halls

On Aug. 12, we announced a series of three town hall meetings on health care, and shortly afterwards added a fourth. These meetings are spread throughout the district so hopefully many residents can come to one close to their home. Thanks so much to everyone who came to a meeting and shared your views on Health Care.
