Rob Curnock, Republican candidate for Congress in District 17, today issued the following statement following Scott Brown’s victory in the Massachusetts special senate election:

“This is a great victory for the people of our country and for conservatives everywhere. Today, even in a traditionally left-leaning state like Massachusetts, people stood up and said ‘Enough’ to the liberal agenda President Obama and Congressional leaders have been pushing.

“This election, coupled with major conservative wins in November 2009, has set the stage for a Conservative revolution in 2010. I am proud to be a leading part of that movement. The people of District 17 are more energized than ever, and I am humbled by the support of so many volunteers across Central and North Texas.

“2010 will be the year we finally have a Congressman who represents our values in Washington.”
