Rob Curnock, Republican candidate for Congress in District 17, will join the people of Moody and surrounding areas at the Moody Cotton Harvest Festival Parade, at 10 am Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, in Moody.

Volunteers interested in walking with Rob should meet at Moody High School on Hwy 317 just south of Moody at 9 a.m. Look for the maroon pickup.

Curnock, the 2008 Republican candidate for Congress in District 17, came within a few percentage points of upsetting a longtime liberal Democrat congressman, who outspent the Republican by almost $2 million in the race. Curnock’s 2010 campaign is already well underway, buoyed by wide support from grassroots volunteers across the District.
