Rob Curnock, Republican candidate for Congress in District 17, will join Central Texans in celebrating Independence Day at several events during the July 4th weekend.

Curnock will walk in the Burleson July 4th Parade at 9 am in downtown Burleson, and will then speak at the Burleson Tea Party immediately following. Curnock, the 2008 Republican candidate for Congress in District 17, came within a few percentage points of upsetting a longtime liberal Democrat congressman, who outspent the Republican by almost $2 million in the race. Curnock’s 2010 campaign is already well underway, buoyed by wide support from grassroots volunteers across the District.
